Utah’s trend of moving around in the AP Top 25 every week of this football season continued Sunday, when the Utes jumped one spot to No. 12 after a 21-3 win over then-No. 17 Arizona State.

The Utes (6-1) benefited from Illinois’ 24-23 upset of formerly No. 6 Wisconsin, as the Badgers fell to No. 13. Pac-12 North leader Oregon moved up to No. 11. Arizona State fell to No. 24, and Washington dropped out of the rankings after a 35-31 loss to Oregon in Seattle. All three Pac-12 teams in the Top 25 occupy the same spots in the Coaches Poll.

Utah is now 4-6 in Top 25 matchups with Pac-12 schools in this decade, including 3-0 when the Utes are the higher-ranked team.

Utah will host California on Saturday night, then visit Washington on Nov. 12. The Utes could meet Oregon only in the Pac-12 championship game.
