White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders told the Christian Broadcasting Network she believes Donald Trump is president because that’s the way God wanted it. “I think God calls all of us to fill different roles at different times and I think that he wanted Donald Trump to become president, and that’s why he’s there,” Sanders told CBN. Sanders added that Trump has done a “tremendous job” backing the issues “that people of faith really care about.” [CNN]
