According to the National Weather Service, it will be sunny in the Salt Lake area with temperatures in the mid-60s on Monday and mid-70s on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, the forecast high is just 49, and there’s a 30% chance of rain showers — along with a slight possibility of snow showers — before 3 p.m. There’s little or no chance of snow accumulation in the Salt Lake area, according to the NWS, but overnight temperatures are expected to dip below freezing to a low of about 28.
On Thursday, there's a 20 percent chance of snow showers before noon, with a high near 42. And temperatures will once again be below freezing Thursday night, with a forecast low of 27.
Other areas could see snow accumulations on Thursday — less than half an inch in Logan, Tooele Provo and Nephi; and less than an inch in Park City.
The weekend is expected to be sunny in Salt Lake City, with highs near 51 on Friday, 58 on Saturday and 63 on Sunday.
