For the last four years the ride-share company Lyft has honored its most popular destinations in a few dozen American cities with Lyftie Awards. Here are the hottest spots in Salt Lake City in 2018, based on Lyft ridership:

Most Visited Bar

The Sun Trapp, 102 S. 600 West, Salt Lake City

The popular gay bar is a good spot for dancing and, of course, drinks. They serve beer in Mason jars, host live music and have a pool table and a patio. The bar is open 1 p.m. to 2 a.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday through Sunday.

Most Visited Concert Venue

• USANA Amphitheatre, 5150 Upper Ridge Road, West Valley City

The 20,000-seat outdoor amphitheater boasts views of the Wasatch Mountains and has hosted an eclectic mix of musicians, from rock bands Weezer and Green Day, to rapper Snoop Dog and country legends like the Dixie Chicks.

Most Visited Fitness Studio

The Gym at City Creek, 51 Main St., Suite 308, Salt Lake City

The downtown Salt Lake City gym is located within the outdoor City Creek shopping mall. It offers personal fitness training, group fitness classes, sauna and steam room, a pool and other standard gym fare, like weights and cardio equipment.

Most Visited Brunch Spot

Red Iguana, 736 W. North Temple, Salt Lake City

The most recognized dining establishment in Salt Lake City, Red Iguana serves up a number of brunch dishes, like huevos rancheros and chilaquiles. But the restaurant, which has been showcased on the Food Network and The New York Times, cooks a number of different specialties — from moles to chile verde burritos — that can keep people lining up outside its door throughout the day.

Most Visited Late-Night Restaurant

Beer Bar, 161 E. 200 South, Salt Lake City

Serving a seemingly endless selection of local and other craft brews, this boozy establishment (licensed as a bar) also sells various sausages, Belgium fries, salads and strudel. The bar is open daily from noon to 2 a.m.

Most Visited Late-Night Neighborhood

• Downtown Salt Lake City

This honoree comes as no surprise, given three other Lyftie Awards went to establishments in downtown. The Downtown Salt Lake City Alliance call’s the urban area Utah’s center for culture, commerce and entertainment — and it’s not a stretch, given downtown Salt Lake City is home to the Eccles Theater, Vivant Smart Home Arena, two outdoor shopping malls, the Salt Palace Convention Center, plenty of bars and restaurants and thousands of businesses.

Only in Salt Lake City...

• Powder Mountain Resort, 6965 E. Powder Mountain Road, Eden

Ironically, this Utah ski resort isn’t in Salt Lake City and isn’t as close as resorts like Snowbird and Solitude. Powder Mountain lies about an hour north of Salt Lake City on more than 8,000 acres of skiable terrain, according to Ski Utah. It is one of North America’s largest ski areas and limits day lift tickets to 1,500 to keep its promise of “preserving the pow" for its visitors.
