The Eagles’ concert in Salt Lake City, originally scheduled for Thursday evening at Vivint Smart Home Arena, has been postponed due to singer/drummer Don Henley’s illness.
The classic-rock group’s show has been rescheduled for Sunday, May 20.
All tickets for the May 3 show will be honored on the new date. Should ticketholders seek a refund, they will be available at point of purchase.
The Eagles’ tour began March 12 in Indianapolis and is currently scheduled to wrap Oct. 20 in Cleveland.
The Eagles are one of the most successful American rock bands ever, having sold more than 120 million albums, including six No. 1 albums and five No. 1 singles. They have won six Grammy Awards and were elected to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. The group, widely credited with creating the “California country sound,” also received Kennedy Center honors in 2016.
The band is best known for songs such as “Hotel California,” “Desperado,” “Peaceful Easy Feeling” and “Take It to the Limit.”
