Despite his leadership in combating fluoridation and his proactive response to the recent measles outbreak, many liberals claim that Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is unqualified to serve as the nation’s foremost public health official.
Kennedy’s critics fail to comprehend the sheer genius of President Donald J. Trump’s appointment of RFK, Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services.
Trump realizes that his tariffs, together with the Trump-Musk fusion of economic austerity, oligarchy and AI-driven technocracy, will result in massive unemployment. Oligarchs run tight ships. They know how to get the highest productivity out of the fewest employees. Technocrats understand rapid advances in Artificial Intelligence ensure that many who were formerly employed as teachers, physicians, technologists, engineers, business managers, etc., will be rendered redundant. No few will end up homeless.
Kennedy’s abrupt firings of scientific specialists and his defunding of medical research are in accord with the Trump-Musk economic agenda. The HHS Secretary has mercifully updated proposals penned by Rev. Thomas Malthus in his 1803 “Essay on the Principle of Population.”
“To act consistently [in accord with the laws of population increase and economic necessities], we should facilitate mortality; above all, we should reprobate specific remedies for ravaging diseases; and those benevolent, but much mistaken men, who have thought they were doing a service to mankind by projecting schemes for the total extirpation of particular disorders.”
Be merciful to the poor, homeless and redundant. Spare them from lives of malnutrition, addiction and hopelessness. Permit diseases to provide them with a quick release from their dismal lives. Go full-bore Kennedy-Trump-Musk. Go full-bore Malthusian.
