Letter: Blinded by the Madonna’s cleavage!

The original version of Carlo Maratta’s painting, titled “The Holy Night” or “The Nativity,” at left. An edited version on the right was used in material for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Brandon Hadlock’s rebuttal of Gordon Monson’s thoughts on the silliness of hiding the Madonna’s cleavage in a famous work of art was hilarious. Please tell me that was a spoof. His comparison of looking at cleavage to looking into the sun was over the top! The Onion couldn’t have thought this one up.
