Try to imagine what the USA would be like if we had all Democrats or all Republicans as our elected leaders.
If we had all Democrats, we would have health care for all, a comprehensive immigration law, voting would be easy and fair for all voters (mail in ballots, lots of drop boxes, voting machines with paper backup, no discrimination against poor and people of color), police reform so that neighborhoods are protected but people of color are not beaten and killed, reasonable gun legislation, better funded education, women’s right to choose protected, the free press protected (but false and misleading information banned), and on and on. The U.S. House of Representatives, under Democratic control, has passed all of this legislation. It then dies in the Senate, due to the requirement of 60 votes. Democrats only have 50 votes. Democrats do believe in a strong defense and higher taxes for the rich, to help balance our budget. Think President Franklin Roosevelt and President Joe Biden. Businesses remained/remain strong and profitable.
Republicans, if they gain power, which is likely starting this fall, would undo all the above.
Do you want to live in a world of hate and fear? Republicans have convinced Americans with lots of billionaire money and a powerful propaganda machine, that Democrats want to take away your guns, your Bibles, force everyone to have abortions, and turn your kids into gays who hate white people. This is false but an effective way to get average struggling Americans to vote for Republicans, who give tax breaks to those same billionaires!
Please stop falling for the propaganda! Vote out Republicans!!! Our democracy depends on it!
