I drove out to the Salt Lake City airport on May 3 at 7:30 pm to pick up a passenger. As I pulled into the arrival pickup line, the westering sun blinded me so that I could not see my person standing on the curb. So we had to coordinate via cell phone.
I could not have seen a pedestrian if they had stepped off the curb.
A curtain could be placed west of the pickup area so that this risk could be averted.
