Letter: Kudos to Sen. Iwamoto for crafting bills of genuine value

Kudos to Utah state Sen. Jani Iwamoto, representing District 4. She introduced well over a dozen bills this session (2021) and is co-sponsor to others. What is so notable is that she always crafts bills that are bi-partisan and of genuine value to the residents of Utah. Her bills have a broad range and are not just “message” bills. They include issues such as air quality, law enforcement, commission on aging, water development, campus safety and others.

Sen. Iwamoto’s bill on the Air Quality Policy Advisory Board (SB 20) passed both houses and is now enrolled.

I appreciate her dedicated service to Utah and I’m proud that she is my state senator. She is surely one of the most hardworking senators in Utah.

Carol Cremer, Holladay
