Letter: Freedom to spread disease

(Katherine Jones | Idaho Statesman via AP file photo) More than 100 other people gather at City Hall to protest Mayor Lauren McLean's order mandating people to wear face coverings in Boise, Idaho, Friday, July 3, 2020.

While many people see the mandate of wearing face masks as an infringement on their personal freedom, where does it give them the right to infringe on the rest of us who would prefer to remain healthy?

Are they telling us to stay indoors while they enjoy their personal freedom to spread this devastating disease?

If they think their political affiliation is being challenged by wearing a mask, just look at the man who began it all. The bleach-drinking, hydroxychloroquine-popping POTUS, who still says that everything is under control.

Utah, you are now in the top 25 viral hot spots of the world.
