Letter: Time to send this imbecile packing

(Alex Brandon | AP) President Donald Trump speaks about the coronavirus in the James Brady Press Briefing Room of the White House, Tuesday, April 7, 2020, in Washington.

Yes, we are facing the worst crisis in a century. And we have a self-promoting, self-absorbed boob who thinks that this crisis is his ticket back into the White House.

If that happens, what does it say to a society that expects its leaders to defend and protect us from enemies both foreign and domestic.

If this is not an enemy of pandemic proportions, then I don't know what this would be called. Yet we have an imbecile running the country, like he ran his six defunct bankrupt companies.

If this is the case, the country is in big trouble.

As we listen to those infomercials he runs on a daily basis we better hope that we get new leadership soon, because this guy is not only going to run the country into the ditch, we are going to lose a lot of people along the way.

We have no direction, or guidelines, because every time an expert talks on solutions, the imbecile interrupts and tells us he has everything under control.

Governors who are trying to help their states by getting medical equipment must kiss the ring in order to get assistance from this guy.

He is definitely not a leader, and he should never be praised for the job he's been doing. We as a country believe that our government has our back in times like this, and all this imbecile projects is self-promotion and campaign ads.

No, when election time rolls around we need to let this imbecile know he does not have our backs and we are definitely not sending him back to Washington.

And if any of his crony patrons feel like he has the best interest of the country in mind, then we need to send them packing as well.

Voting is your only equalizer.
