Letter: No wonder Medicare is in trouble

(Terry Renna | AP file photo) Judith Negron is interviewed at her home in Hialeah, Fla., Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2020. Negron was serving 35 years at a Florida prison for health care fraud, conspiracy and money laundering when she was released Tuesday after President Donald Trump commuted her sentence.

How can our illustrious Utah legislature support a president who decided to pardon a person, Judith Negron, who was convicted of one of the biggest Medicare scams to the tune of $205 million and sentenced to 35 years in prison. It’s no wonder Medicare and Social Security are in trouble.

Don’t get me started on the rest of his “compassionate” pardons. It’s disgusting!
