I’ve been reading a biography of Napoleon and came across a passage that brought to mind a certain American president:
“So great was Napoleon’s megalomania, and so vast his actual power, that he no longer cared what other countries might think about any of his actions.”
At this point we can only hope that the Greeks were right about hubris.
