Letter: I wouldn’t let my child behave like Trump

(Evan Vucci | AP) President Donald Trump speaks during an event in the East Room of the White House on Friday, Jan. 17, 2020, in Washington.

I have been wondering why people still support Donald Trump. Whenever I see letters defending him, it seems like they list his accomplishments, but ignore his behavior.

They can believe what they want, but if my child behaved like Trump I would have to punish him. I would correct his behavior appropriate to the situation, probably by giving him a time out or my favorite, sending him to his room until he can act civilized. If he didn’t learn his lesson the first time, I would do it again.

Bad behavior needs immediate response, if you wait until they are adults then it is too late and they never learn.
