I was born in Utah and have always been proud of my heritage and my brave pioneer forefathers who risked everything for their beliefs and fled from persecution. Today, I am ashamed of our legislators who would not stand up against racial persecution.
Would they have told the pioneers to “go back where you came from”?
Our legislators should stand for protection of all citizens, not just the white ones. Christ wasn’t white.
What about, “In as much as ye have done it unto the least of these, your brethren, ye have done it unto me?”
I don’t even go to church, and yet I remember being taught that in Primary. What’s wrong with us?
