Maybe I’ve changed my mind about President Trump’s proposed wall. Maybe we should give Trump and the Republicans $5.7 billion for the wall, but with some stipulations.
Every mile or so, the wall should have, in big block letters like Trump likes to put on his towers and buildings, T R U M P. The wall will then forever be a monument and reminder of how Trump has divided our country, and how Trump is missing a moral screw.
The wall should have the block letters “G O P” as a monument and reminder as to what the Republican Party has become. A monument and reminder that the Republican Party and Trump are the party and president of choice for such groups as the KKK, the alt-right, white supremacists, neo-Nazis, anti-gay rights, anti-women’s right, anti-immigration, racists, science deniers, climate change deniers, news media haters, Russians, anti-Jews, neo-Confederates, and the supposedly morally upright Christians and Mormons.
And to represent the great state of Utah, the wall should also have a large plaque adorned with the names of Orrin Hatch, Mike Lee, Mia Love, Chris Stewart, Rob Bishop and John Curtis.
