Once again, Greg Hughes has just demonstrated the depth and extent of Republican arrogance in their self-declared “ownership” of our state.

First he appoints himself to the board of the inland port when he owns eight nearby properties that would stand to gain. Then he tries to change the law to cancel his conflict of interest.

It’s like déjà vu — UTA and Terry Diehl all over again. The sooner this guy gets his hands out of our pockets, the better. And it should be a wake-up call to Utah’s citizenry as to what the GOP will do whenever they think they can get away with it.
