Surely there must be a better way to advocate for gender equality than to disparage America’s Freedom Festival and the hundreds of thousands who participate in it in some way each year.

I can understand your editors’ frustration with festival organizers and even appreciate your alliterative use of “freedumb” as defined by the urban dictionary. I get it. But there is a difference between a festival and its organizers, and for me the “good faith and good will” highlighted in your lead story Friday was sabotaged by your angry editorial that left a sour taste in the collective mouths of many Utahns who share the patriotism and values of the festival.
