What’s coming to southern Utah: New businesses and construction projects to follow

Here’s what’s happening in Washington County this month.

With so much happening all over Southern Utah, it sure is tough to keep up. Here’s a list below of what’s happening this month:

St. George area:

  • Club Pilates — Their third location is opening this fall at 922 E. Brigham Road. For more information, check out lp.clubpilates.com.
  • Desert Caddie — New golf store opening this month at 1664 S. Dixie Drive. For more information, check out desertgolfcaddie.com.
  • The Breakfast House New breakfast spot now open at 1487 Silicon Way. For more information, check out thebreakfasthouseutah.com.
  • Riggatti’s Wood Fired Pizza — Currently relocating their Sunset Boulevard location to Sunset Corner next to Neto’s Bakery at 1091 N. Bluff St. The plan is to open sometime this month with double the space. For more information, check out riggattis.com.
  • Urban Pets & Plants- New store for exotic reptiles, aquatics and plants now open in Sunset Corner at 1091 N Bluff St., Unit 312. For more information, check out their Instagram page.
  • Cosmopolitan Grill - Chef Imi Kun is back. The chef behind the now-closed Aragosta Restaurant is taking over the old Guru’s building at Sunset Corner and turning it into the Cosmopolitan Grill. Plan is to be open in October.
  • Blast From The Past — Now open at 1397 W. Sunset Blvd., where you can rent space and set up vintage and antique items to sell. For more information, check out their Facebook page.
  • Zeppes Italian Ice & Custard — A second location opening up this month at 1812 W. Sunset Blvd., Suite 2. For more information, check out zeppesice.com.
  • Pecan Jacks Ice Cream & Candy Kitchen In the works at St. George Place on Bluff. This is brand new to Utah but is popular throughout the south. Plan is to be open next spring. For more information, check out pecanjacks.com.
  • 4 Brothers RV Sales — Now open at 960 S Bluff St. For more information, check out 4brothersrvsales.com.
  • Patches Flower & Gifts — They relocated and replaced Handel’s at 291 N. Bluff St. For more information, check out patchesflowers.com.
  • Bella Marie’s Italian Restaurant and NY Pizza — Now open. They moved to 757 N. Bluff St. where Pepe’s Tacos was. For more information, check out bellamariespizzeria.com.
  • El Jinete Mexican Grill — Now open. Their building burned in Hurricane and they moved to 744 N. Bluff St. For more information, check out eljineteut.com.
  • Konquer Barbershop — Now open at 400 W. 145 North, Unit 135. For more information, check out their Instagram page.
  • Move Better Clinic — Chiropractic clinic now open at 43 S. 100 East, #200. For more information, check out movebetterutah.com.
  • Desert Strength Club — New gym set to open this month at 861 N. Redrock Road, Suite 1. For more information, check out desertstrengthclub.com.
  • Mint To Be Children’s Academy — New daycare in the works at 1479 George Washington Blvd. in the River Path Landing building. Plan is to be open in January.
  • Eden Head Spa — Now open in Rio Plaza at 558 E. Riverside Drive, #102. For more information, check out edenstg.com.
  • E-Bike St. George — Under new ownership and name change, at 528 N. Mall Drive. For more information, check out ebikestg.com.
  • Nordstrom Rack, Anthropologie and Free People all three announced they are coming to The Paseo, a new shopping destination planned for the corner of 3000 East and Merrill Road. Set to open in 2027.
  • Santa Clara area:

  • Daisy Blume — Now open. Born from the Desert Daisy Flower Truck, the new retail space will feature home decor, custom arrangements, and an everyday “Blume Bar.” They will still have their mobile truck as well. For more information, check out their Instagram page.

  • SoenHaus The curated lifestyle store and gallery plans to be open soon at 2711 Santa Clara Drive, Suite 300. For more information, check out soenhaus.com.
  • Hurricane area:
