A Thursday afternoon power outage initially left some 5,200 Salt Lake City customers without electricity, Rocky Mountain Power reported.

The utility said the outage, related to a pole fire that interrupted operations at a nearby substation, was affecting businesses and residences within the 84015 and 84106 ZIP codes.

Power was restored to everyone as of 5:11 p.m., the agency said.
