One man is dead and another is in custody after what St. George police are calling a “domestic violence-related” shooting on Wednesday night.
According to police, they received a call at about 8:30 p.m. reporting that a man was threatening several people with a gun at a home near 740 N. 1100 East.
When officers arrived, they heard gunshots inside the home. Police said officers were able to take the suspected shooter into custody without firing their own weapons.
When police searched the home, they found the body of a man who had been shot to death. As of Thursday morning, neither the name of the man killed nor the name of the suspected shooter had been released.
Officers continue to investigate.
