A small plane crashed onto the roof of a Spanish Fork warehouse Friday afternoon, injuring one man who was flown to a hospital for treatment.
The single-engine airplane crashed at about 12:47 p.m. onto the roof of the Mountain Country Foods warehouse, located about a quarter of a mile from the the Spanish Fork Airport.
The plane’s pilot, a 77-year-old-man, was taken to a hospital in critical condition, according to Spanish Fork Police.
Employees were present in the warehouse at the time of the crash but were not injured. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board.
