He’s been called a “legend,” an “indomitable fighter“ and “one of the greatest coaches in the history of the NBA.” Over 23 years, Jerry Sloan led the Utah Jazz to consecutive NBA Finals in 1997 and 1998 and 15 consecutive playoff appearances between 1989 and 2003. On Friday, he died at age 78.
