Photos: Utah’s health care workers get a big thank you from police, firefighters, and return the favor

(Francisco Kjolseth | The Salt Lake Tribune) First responders do a drive by the University of Utah Hospital, Primary Children's and IMED in Salt Lake City on Monday, April 27, 2020, as caregivers come outside to exchange thanks in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Health care workers at the University of Utah, Primary Children’s Hospital and Intermountain Medical were given a thank you parade from first responders.

Firetrucks, police cars and ambulances drove past the medical buildings and waved to those gathered outside on the sidewalks. In turn, doctors, nurses and others greeted the parade with signs and thank yous of their own as they continue to treat those who test positive for the coronavirus.
