The premiere of the made-in-Utah drama “Yellowstone” is still more than three months away, but the Paramount Network on Wednesday gave us a glimpse of what the series is going to look like with the first trailer.
Two-time Oscar-winner Kevin Costner, in his first starring role in an episodic TV series, stars as the patriarch of a family that owns the largest contiguous ranch in the United States, which borders Yellowstone National Park.
(The series was filmed in Utah and Montana; it’s set in Montana.)
Taylor Sheridan, who was nominated for an Oscar for writing the screenplay for “Hell or High Water,” is the writer/director of “Yellowstone.”
The cast includes Wes Bentley, Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, Dave Annable, Danny Huston, Gil Birmingham, Jefferson White, Gretchen Mol, Jill Hennessy, Patrick St. Esprit, Ian Bohen and Denim Richards.
The Paramount Network hasn’t announce exactly when “Yellowstone” will debut, just that we’ll see it sometime in June.
