As snows melt elsewhere, Utah could have leg up on hosting future Winter Olympic Games — thanks to global warming

Study finds that of 19 past Winter Olympics host cities, half or fewer will have weather conditions by 2050 suitable for hosting again. Utah’s high mountains, though, give it an edge on snow.
