After Olympics, Salt Lake’s Nathan Chen will join ‘Stars on Ice’ tour, including stop at Maverik Center

Tickets on sale Friday for May 16 show in West Valley City, featuring several figure-skating and ice-dancing medal prospects.

After competing in February at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea, Salt Lake City native Nathan Chen and other U.S. medal hopefuls will go on tour — including a show in the Salt Lake Valley.

The “Stars on Ice” tour will make a stop at the Maverik Center in West Valley City on May 16.

Chen, the U.S. national men’s champion, will be joined on the tour by other Olympic prospects. They include 2016 world silver medalist Ashley Wagner, three-time world medalist ice-dancing pair Maia and Alex Shibutani, 2017 U.S. ladies champion Karen Chen, 2015 U.S. men’s national champion Jason Brown and the ice-dancing team of Meryl Davis and Charlie White, who won gold at Sochi in 2014.
