Lindsey Vonn leads World Cup prize money list

Two-time World Cup overall champion Lindsey Vonn of the United States topped the circuit's prize money list, earning $395,000 for winning a season-best nine victories out of 34 races.

Maria Riesch of Germany was next with $314,000, the International Ski Federation said Monday.

World Cup slalom champion Jean-Baptiste Grange of France was the third-highest earner, and the best of the men, with $234,000.

Bode Miller of the United States was 15th, earning $84,000. He finished second in three races before ending his season early.

Benjamin Raich of Austria, who won four of 36 races, was the second-highest men's earner with $201,000. Overall World Cup winner Aksel Lund Svindal of Norway was next with $197,000.
