Posted: 7:02 PM- COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Johnnie Bryant scored 17 points and the Utah Utes survived a poor first half and an imperfect stretch run to beat Air Force 67-59 at Clune Arena on Saturday.

It was their first victory this season in which they trailed at halftime.

The Utes scored just 20 points in the first half on 39 percent shooting, and trailed by 10 at halftime. But they fought back and were tied at 48-48 with 7:54 remaining, before Carlon Brown and Luca Drca fueled a 9-0 run that gave the Utes control.

Then, they survived by making four straight free throws in the final 24 seconds.

Brown finished with six points and a career-high 11 rebounds, while Shaun Green added six points and 10 rebounds. The Utes badly outrebounded the Falcons, who made their last 14 free throws in a row after making only 4 of their first 13.
