The Utes' 7-foot center told the Melbourne Herald Sun newspaper Friday in Australia that he doesn't care whether he's picked "one or 10" in the NBA draft in June, but that "I just want to fulfill a dream, and my first choice would be to stay here in Utah and play for the Jazz in the NBA."
Bogut has not said definitively that he's leaving the Utes after this season, but nobody around the program expects him to stay, considering he could be among the first few picks of the draft. The newspaper article focused on the probability that Bogut will miss the Commonwealth Games in his hometown of Melbourne next spring because he will be playing in the NBA.
"It has been a dream of mine," he said, "and I hope basketball fans in Australia realize this is an opportunity of a lifetime."
