At least one of the four underclassmen who left the University of Utah basketball program after the 2009-10 season has found a home.

Carlon Brown is transferring to Colorado. The 6-foot-5 guard, who has one season of eligibility remaining, committed to the Buffaloes during the weekend.

Brown must sit out one season due to NCAA rules regarding transfers, and will play for the Buffs and new coach Tad Boyle in 2011-12, if all goes according to plan.

Brown, who led the Utes in scoring with a 12.6 average last season, chose Colorado over Kent State after visiting both schools in the past two weeks.

The rising senior was one of 103 early entrants who filed paperwork to enter June's NBA Draft, but the commitment to Colorado evidently means Brown will withdraw his name before Saturday's deadline.

Other Mountain West Conference players who submitted their names for the draft included BYU's Jimmer Fredette and New Mexico's Darington Hobson.

The other players who left Utah's program this past season -- Matt Read, Jordan Cyphers and Marshall Henderson -- have yet to announce the schools to which they will transfer.
