Hatch, his wife host 19th annual seniors conference

Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, and his wife Elaine are holding the 19th annual Utah Conference for Seniors today at Little America Hotel in downtown Salt Lake City. Among the conference highlights, seniors will have the opportunity to get free glaucoma testing and meet with representatives from Salt Lake County Aging Services to discuss the new Medicare prescription drug benefit. Workshops will address topics including preparing for natural disasters, creating a retirement income stream, increasing health and well-being, becoming a savvy customer and meeting the challenges of Alzheimer's care. The conference runs from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the hotel, 500 S. Main Street. - Carey Hamilton
