An unruly passenger who allegedly assaulted others while complaining of a presidential conspiracy forced a commercial flight to divert to Salt Lake City on Wednesday.

According to a criminal complaint filed Wednesday in federal court in Salt Lake City, Bogdana A. Georgieva, 35, grabbed another passenger and threw her into the aisle aboard Skywest-United Express Flight 6664 from Eugene, Ore., to Denver.

Georgieva then yelled she had a baby named Jesus, that her uncle impregnated her and that "President Bush was behind it all," according to the complaint, which charges her with interference with a flight crew.

The woman also attempted to remove her blouse and throw things at other passengers, the complaint states.

The pilot diverted the plane to Salt Lake City. During landing, states the complaint, the woman ran toward the flight deck. When a flight attended stopped her, the woman ripped out the attendant's earring and a lock of hair. Another passenger said the woman tried to bite the flight attendant. Two passengers subdued the woman.

When the plane was on the ground, the woman tried to run from airport police and claimed there was a bomb aboard the plane, according to the charges. A bomb squad searched the aircraft but found no explosives.

After her arrest, Georgieva, a Bulgarian national, was taken to University Hospital for an evaluation.
