Two new employees will assist the governor's deputy chief of staff with his varied responsibilities. Deputy Chief of Staff Mike Mower is responsible for working with state lawmakers and responding to media requests. He will receive the help of Doug DeVore for legislative issues and Lisa Roskelley for public relations. DeVore is a former legislative intern who has worked as a law clerk for the tax division of the Attorney General's Office since May. Roskelley has reported for the Standard Examiner newspaper in Ogden since May 2002, covering the military, transportation and politics. She is finishing her master's degree in public administration at the University of Utah.
