Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. will meet in Bountiful on Monday with local and state officials to sign the Legacy Parkway settlement approved Wednesday in a legislative special session. The controversial agreement with groups that opposed construction of the highway will end a federal court injunction. Legacy Parkway, a $685 million, 14-mile scenic byway, is expected to relieve traffic congestion on Interstate 15 from Salt Lake's northern suburbs. Huntsman will sign the agreement at Fifth South and Redwood Road in Bountiful.
