Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. on Friday announced he has reappointed Pam Hendrickson as Utah State Tax Commission chairwoman. Hendrickson was first named to the commission by then-Gov. Mike Leavitt in 1997 after serving 14 years as the Sevier County Assessor. "Hendrickson has done an excellent job of working with legislators, Utah businesses and taxpayers to promote the best interests of the state," said Huntsman. "Her expertise is invaluable to the citizens of Utah." Hendrickson's appointment requires confirmation by the state Senate, which is expected to take up the matter during its June 15 interim meetings.
