Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. signed more than 60 bills Friday on his way to next week's deadline to sign or veto nearly 400 pieces of legislation passed by lawmakers in the 2005 Legislature.

Huntsman signed off on a group of task forces that are charged with reviewing Intermountain Health Care's practices, the Government Records Access and Management Act and proposals for tax reform.

The governor also approved legislation that will require citizen lawmakers to include financial estimates on initiative petitions.

If the estimates are wrong, lawmakers can repeal voter-approved laws.

Huntsman signed legislation to exempt home schools from school district teaching and testing requirements.

He agreed to set aside $1 million in a Motion Picture Incentive Fund meant to lure movie and television productions to the state.

He also signed legislation that will cut businesses taxes an estimated $7 million annually by allowing corporations more flexibility in calculating their income tax liability.
