A 19-year-old man allegedly fired about six rounds at another man - missing each time - during a gang-related fight outside some homes in West Valley City.

The fight started about 6:45 p.m. on the 2500 South block of Parkcrest Drive (1860 West) with four people fighting with an 18-year-old man, said West Valley City police Lt. Bill Froehlich. They allegedly hit the 18-year-old with a weapon, causing an injury to his arm, Froehlich said.

Police were still interviewing the people involved in the fight late Friday night.
