Orrin Hatch and Bob Bennett have been named by Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist to a Republican High-Tech Task Force studying taxation, intellectual property, research and other technology related issues. "We have a tremendous high technology industry in Utah and this task force will help to shape policy on some of the most important issues facing that industry," Hatch said in a statement. Hatch said a key technology issue is making it accessible for Americans.
