When Sen. Ed Mayne, D-West Valley City, started dancing and singing, "Good night, Sweetheart" for reporters in the gallery recently, Sens. Mike Waddoups, R-Taylorsville, and Dave Thomas, R-South Weber, started chuckling.
Asked why his colleagues never did that, Mayne said it is because ''Republicans are too stuffy.''
