TAYLORSVILLE - The Democratic strategist who ran Al Gore's 2000 presidential campaign will discuss the rights of all Americans to participate in the political process Thursday at Salt Lake Community College.
Donna Brazile will speak at SLCC's Redwood Campus, 4600 S. Redwood Road, Taylorsville. The 10 a.m. event in the Student Center's Oak Room is free.
Brazile is chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee's Voting Rights Institute and an adjunct professor at Georgetown University. She is a columnist for Roll Call and a cable news commentator.
