An Amber Alert was issued early Sunday morning by Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office after 4-year-old Kaden Biggs was reported missing by his parents.

The man police were looking for was 26-year-old Bob Greene, who is the boyfriend of the boy's aunt. Greene and the aunt live with Greene's parents near 4300 South and 4800 West, said Sgt. Rosie Rivera of Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office.

The boy was supposed to spend the night with Greene and the aunt at Greene's home. The aunt, who is on an ankle monitoring program, could not leave the house, but sent Greene to pick up the boy. The pair were seen leaving the boy's house around 4 p.m., but Greene did not return with the boy. Shortly after 1 a.m., the alert was issued.

Greene is a known drug abuser and sex offender with an extensive criminal history, Rivera said.

The Amber Alert was canceled around 8:30 a.m., when Greene came home with the boy. Greene was arrested and booked into the Salt Lake County Jail on the suspicion of kidnapping. The boy was unharmed.
