Utah joins in the effort to help tsunami victims

Krispy Kreme stores in Utah, Nevada, Idaho and Montana will donate $1 from every dozen doughnuts sold on Saturday to the American Red Cross to help those affected by the tsunami disaster in South Asia. The Krispy Kreme Utah stores participating in this effort are at 7525 S. Union Park Ave., Sandy; 417 W. University Parkway, Orem; and 968 N. Main St., Layton.

Anonymous businesses in Draper have contributed enough money to send a Church of Scientology volunteer minister, Kimberly Hunter, to Indonesia to assist in tsunami relief efforts, according to a church news release. To contribute to the church's efforts or learn more, go to http://www.volunteerministers.org.
