Three cross-country skiers reported missing at 5:30 p.m. at the Powder Mountain Winter Resort were found by a Utah Highway Patrol chopper about four hours later. The three skiers - a man, woman and 13-year-old boy vacationing from Austin, Texas - had been missing for about 45 minutes when Weber County dispatchers received the call. Weber County Search and Rescue snowmobile and ski teams, as well as the UHP chopper, scoured the Left Hand Fork area, where the trio was eventually found at about 9:30 p.m., said Weber County Sheriff's Office Lt. Jeff Malan. Though the temperature at 8,400 feet dropped to 1 degree below zero Thursday night, none of the three were hypothermic, Malan said.
