With a write-in candidate in the mix, Salt Lake County elections officials say it is possible they will not have much of the results in the county mayor's race on Election Night. The problem: The ballots with write-ins probably will have to be hand-counted. And that could be tens of thousands of ballots, depending on Ellis Ivory's efforts.

"At this point, it's difficult to tell," said Elections Director Julio Garcia.

Another interesting point: Some voters cast absentee ballots before Ivory entered the race.
