Sen. Orrin Hatch has announced the lineup of speakers and entertainers who will be featured Monday at the 20th annual Utah Women's Conference, whose theme this year is "Discovering the Diversity and Unity of Women." The conference, hosted by Hatch and his wife Elaine, will be Monday at Abravanel Hall and the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City. Gov. Olene Walker will be the keynote speaker at the morning session at Abravanel Hall that starts at 9. The afternoon session will include musical performances by SHeDAISY, a Utah group whose 1999 album "TheWhole SheBang" went double platinum. Utah composer Kurt Bestor will also perform. "I am absolutely thrilled to present this year's conference to Utah women," Orrin Hatch said in a statement. "Governor Walker is a truly amazing woman who is a role model for women throughout Utah and our nation. In addition, I am so excited to have such wonderful Utah musical performers who are willing to come and share their talents at our conference. The day should be highly educational, informative and very entertaining." In addition to the featured speakers and entertainers, the conference will also offer workshops on a variety of topics, including business success, smart money management and women's health. Registration is 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Monday at Abravanel Hall. For registration information, call 801-941-7661.
