Senate to consider appointments by Walker

Gov. Olene Walker has submitted the following appointments to the Utah State Senate for its concurrence:

Air Quality Board: Marcelle Shoop to fill the unexpired term of Jonathan Cherry.

Board of Travel Development: Georgianna Knudson to fill the unexpired term of Vickie L. McCall.

Permanent Community Impact Fund: Ralph Okerlund reappointed.

Securities Advisory Board: Henry R. Autry reappointed. Laura Polacheck to replace Richard Smiley. Edward L. McCartney to replace W. Rex Thornton.

State Records Committee: Scott Whitaker to replace Brian Winterowd. Carl Albrecht to replace Cherie Nash Willis.

Utah 911 Committee: Dave White, Eric Varney, Chuck McCown and Lance Checketts appointed.

Water Quality Board: Paula Doughty to fill the unexpired term of William R. Williams.

Board of Child and Family Services: David Lewis Corwin and Barbara Ann Feaster reappointed. Bridgette Borsch appointed to replace Geri Braegger. Paulette Gareen to replace Martin N. Olsen. Alan N. Garfield to replace Gladys Hale. Jan D. Watts to replace Shelia Deputy.
