Walker sends picks to Utah Senate

Gov. Olene Walker has submitted the following appointments to the Utah Senate for confirmation.

District Court: John R. Morris Jr. as a judge in the 2nd Judicial District.

Board of Substance Abuse and Mental Health: Michael J. Crookston, Joleen G. Meredith and Nora Thurgood Stephens reappointed.

School and Institutional Trust Lands Board: John Y. Ferry to replace Ruland Gill.

Board of Child and Family Services: David Lewis Corwin, Sheila Deputy and Barbara Ann Feaster reappointed. Bridgette Borsch, Paulette Gareen and Alan N. Garfield appointed.

Real Estate Commission: Blaine Walker to replace Danny Holt; Bonnie Peretti to replace Tom Morgan.

State Board of Regents: Katharine Bagley Garff to fill the unexpired term of Charlie Johnson; Trenton R. Kemp to replace Bill Edwards as student regent.

Radiation Control Board: Kent Bradford, Stephen T. Nelson, Gregory G. Oman, Robert S. Pattison and Dan L. Perry reappointed. Joseph Miner appointed.

Real Estate Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board: Craig Morley to replace Michael Christensen; Lynn Christensen to replace Joe Stott; Holly Christensen to replace Dawn Buxton.

Utah Valley State College Board of Trustees: Janette Hales Beckham to fill the unexpired term of Karen Ashton.

Youth Parole Authority: Jeff Norton to fill the unexpired term of Randy Ence; Alvin Emery to fill the unexpired term of Carlos Esqueda; Gary Mackelprang to fill the unexpired, pro tempore term of Jeff Norton.
