Posted: 3:56 PM- Kelsey Nixon, one of four remaining finalists on "The Next Food Network Star," played the lead in a different kind of reality show Friday: her wedding.

Nixon, of North Ogden, married Robby Egan at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Temple in Bountiful. An evening reception followed at the McCune Mansion in Salt Lake.

Aaron McCargo, the 36-year-old chef of a hospital in Camden, N.J., was the only finalist to attend.

Initially, Nixon had hoped all nine of her reality show companions could attend the celebration, and possibly even cook for guests, said her mother Kathy Nixon.

Unfortunately, scheduling conflicts and issues with food handler's permits would not allow it.

"The Next Food Network Star," which has already been taped in its entirety earlier this year, airs Sundays at 11 p.m. It repeats several times throughout the week.

If Nixon is the last contestant standing on July 27, she will star in her own cooking show on the popular cooking network.
